Dr. Anil Gutta, an experienced and compassionate veterinarian graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000, since then he worked as a mixed practice veterinarian till 2006 in India. And then he moved to the United States in 2007 with a passion of practicing high quality veterinary medicine in an advanced setting. He completed his Master’s degree from Marshal University, WV in 2008 and North American Veterinary Licensing Exam (NAVLE) in 2009. Soon after this accomplishment, he joined in Philadelphia SPCA as a Veterinarian and helped thousands of shelter animals. In 2010 he joined as a veterinarian in an established small animal practice.With his continued passion to provide the best quality veterinary care, he opened his own practice at South Jersey Animal Hospital in February 2016. As a veterinarian, he strongly believes in quality care for pets and in being available to his patients when needed.Dr. Gutta is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and has special interests in soft tissue surgery and would like to get specialization in orthopedic surgeries.In 2002, Dr. Gutta married his wife and now has a 10-year-old son and 12-year-old daughter.Dr. Gutta believes in offering a wide variety of services to his furry friend patients. Dr.Gregory B. KushnerDVM
Dr. Gregory B. Kushner is a South Jersey native raised in Moorestown. He soon traveled the world for education as he graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Canada with a Bachelors in Agricultural Science. Then traveled to Grenada, West Indies to start Veterinary school at St. George’s University where he graduated with honors in 2016. Doctor Kushner enjoys gardening Dr. Kushner’s aptitude for travel has strengthened his understanding of veterinary medicine throughout his career. In 2016, he became certified by the USDA to protect global transmission of disease by evaluating household pets for worldwide travel. When Dr. Kushner is not traveling abroad, he is home with his two dogs, Tootsie and Tai, and his cat named Cheeky. Dr. Kushner likes to spend his free time gardening and cooking with his garden fresh vegetables. He’s internationally known for his fajitas and guacamole, and locally known for his heirloom tomato pasta sauce.
Brittani is the newest member of our South Jersey Animal Hospital family. She is currently in school, on her way to becoming a certified Veterinary Technician. Brittani enjoys giving her patients love and attention while they are here to see the Doctor. She is always trying to give her patients and her pet parents a great experience to feel comfortable, and allowing them to see that visiting the doctor is always a fun visit. Brittani has recently adopted two kittens named Gandalf and Darth, whom she loves and spoils so very much!
Jen has loved animals for as long as she can remember, but has only made them a part of her career for about six years. She started off at Banfield Pet Hospital, where she had the opportunity of working with Dr. Gutta for the first time. Jen is bulldog mom and loves finishing her day off with cuddles from her dogs Tugger and Kono. Jen is always a happy face and always willing to greet everyone with a friendly welcome when they walk through the doors of South Jersey Animal Hospital. Her friendliness radiates throughout our hospital!
Lindsey JewellTechnician, CVA, RVT
Lindsey is a valued member of our team. She has spent her time studying veterinary medicine and veterinary technology for a couple of years. Lindsey took, and passed her New Jersey state board exams to become a Certified Veterinary Assistant and Registered Veterinary Nurse. Lindsey has been working in the veterinary industry for a little over six years, and takes an immense amount of pride in the work she does. After work, she is able to go home to her house on the beach to relax with her five cats, Felix, Titan, Alfredo, Aurora, and Darla.
Brenda has been a veterinary technician for over 25 years. She brings a lot of valuable experience to our team. Brenda enjoys caring for the animals in the hospital, as well as her critters and family at home. Brenda has been a groomer and Veterinary Technician at South Jersey Animal Hospital and also enjoys taking care of your furry friends while they are boarding with us in the kennel! Brenda takes a great amount of pride in her work and it absolutely shows. Brenda spends her spare time at home with her husband and taking care of her babies, Bamm-Bamm, Pebbles, Fred, and Betty!
Chrissy is our groomer! She grooms Mondays and Tuesdays here at our hospital and is always in high demand! Chrissy has been a groomer for over 20 years. She likes to enjoy time with her family and friends, and at the end of the day she goes home to her 3 dogs (Gizmo, Mitzii and Paulie) her 2 cats, bearded dragon and guinea pig! Raj & KrishHospital Cats
Adopted by Doctor Gutta, these two boys are typically walking around the hospital waiting to meet you and your companion. In the Indian language Raj means king and Krish means prince. Raj (white) and Krish (tabby) will keep you comfortable and fuzzy during your visit here at South Jersey Animal Hospital! Feel free to pet them both as you please, they are the friendliest duo you will ever meet!
Rani is our newest edition to the South Jersey Animal Hospital Family. Rani means queen in the Indian language. She was brought to us by a good samaritan. She was found in the middle of a busy highway hit by a car. She had a broken jaw, but was saved by Doctor Gutta. She is now forever grateful and thinks she's the queen of the hospital.
